1. Agreement
These terms apply when you download or use Reclaim. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app.
2. What Reclaim does
Reclaim helps people record IOUs, split expenses, manage groups, send reminders, and open supported payment apps with payment details filled in.
Reclaim does not hold, transfer, or process money. Payments made through Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or another external service are governed by that service's terms.
3. Free and premium access
Free plan
- Up to 3 friends and 1 group.
- Up to 10 unsettled IOUs at a time.
- Up to 5 AI receipt scans per month.
Premium plan
- Unlimited friends, groups, and unsettled IOUs.
- Up to 100 AI receipt scans per month.
- Access to premium features identified in the app.
We may adjust plan limits or features. Material changes will be shown in the app or on this site.
4. Subscriptions
- Apple bills subscriptions through your App Store account.
- Pricing appears in your local currency before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings.
- Apple handles billing disputes and refund requests under its own policies.
5. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and activity on your account. Information you enter must not impersonate another person or violate their rights.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Reclaim. If local law requires parental consent at an older age, you must have that consent.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Reclaim to:
- Break the law or facilitate fraud.
- Harass another person or send abusive reminders.
- Attempt to access another user's account or private data.
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service except where the law expressly permits it.
- Upload malicious code or misleading information.
7. Receipt scanning and generated results
Receipt parsing uses Google Gemini and may occasionally return an incorrect amount, item, or participant. Review every result before creating an IOU. You remain responsible for confirming the accuracy of expenses entered into Reclaim.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Reclaim. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every feature will remain available forever.
9. Disclaimer and liability
Reclaim is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reclaim disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, external payment services, or inaccurate information entered by users.
10. Suspension and account deletion
We may suspend access for violations of these terms or activity that threatens the service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from Settings in the app.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
